Happy New Year, everyone! I hope your 2026 is off to a wonderful start.
As I look back on our 2025 Bible Reading Plan, I’m thankful for the lessons we learned from the many ways Jesus connected with people. His compassion, service, and love for others have really encouraged and inspired me.
Our new Bible Reading Plan for 2026 begins on Monday, and it will center on daily practices for spiritual growth, highlighting a new practice each month. Hard copies will be available at Guest Services and distributed monthly. For more details, visit nhcbrp.com. I hope you’ll join us as we continue this journey together!
Today’s reflection verse is a great way to start our new plan:
“I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation.” Philippians 4:12 (NLT)
As we spend more time with Jesus and get to know Him, our trust in Him grows. This year, we’ll focus on practices like meditation, prayer, celebration, fasting, simplicity, solitude, submission, service, guidance, confession, study, and worship to help us build a closer relationship with Him.
Let’s commit to growing together this year and encourage each other as we seek a deeper relationship with Christ. When we spend time reading the Bible and praying, our faith grows stronger, and we become better prepared to handle life’s challenges with grace and hope. As we practice these habits, I pray we experience real change and support one another every step of the way.
