Student Ministry

We’re dedicated to providing a place for students (6th -12th grade) to connect with God.

The Student Ministry is for 6th – 12th graders. We are dedicated to providing an environment that is safe, fun, engaging, and attractive to all students. We also strive to help our students grow in their relationship with Jesus, learn how to use and apply what is written in the Bible to their lives, learn how to serve and give generously, and connect with other students and adult leaders through authentic, nurturing relationships.

The students meet on Sunday nights. Doors open at 5:45 with a social gathering, games, and fun to provide a time for the students to interact and hang out. We begin our services at 6:00 which include music, bible teaching, application, and games. After the service, we break into small groups to connect with other students and adult leaders, discuss the lesson and figure out how to apply it to our lives, dig deeper into the Bible and prayer, and have fun with games and activities. We wrap up around 7:45 pm.

CURRENT TEACHING

This summer, our rising 7th through 12th graders are diving into a 5-week series called Faith Skills — a practical and powerful look at how to grow a real relationship with God.

In 2025, we’re all searching for that secret sauce — the answer to how we can connect with God in a deeper way. The truth? There’s no shortcut or magic formula. But there are habits, rhythms, and skills that can shape your faith for the rest of your life.

Each week, we’ll explore a new piece of the faith puzzle and challenge you to put it into practice.

Here’s what’s coming:
Week 1: What does it mean to truly connect with God?
Week 2: Can we really hear from God?
Week 3: How do we talk to God in a real way?
Week 4: Why is it so hard to talk about God — and how can we get better at it?
Week 5: What’s the big deal about worship?

No gimmicks. No shortcuts. Just real tools for a real relationship with God. Don’t miss it!

ROUTE 56

Route 56 is New Hope’s awesome transition group just for incoming 6th graders. Route 56 helps them get comfortable in Student Ministry, make some friends, meet their leaders, and dive into their faith journey.

June 8th: Preview Day, after the 9 & 11 am services | Room 222 | Meet the leaders & grab a donut hole
June 15th: Launch Day, during the 9 & 11 am services | Room 222 (Check in as normal)
Starting June 22: Takeover, Sunday Nights 5:45–7:45 pm
