Friday Insight Post
by David Schleyer
In Matthew 28, Mark 16, and Luke 24, Jesus gives His followers a clear assignment. He sends them out with a message meant for every person and every place. It is not just a task for leaders or experts. It is an invitation for anyone who chooses to follow Him.
When I read these words, I realize the mission is closer to my life than I often think. Jesus is not asking me to change the whole world at once. He is asking me to start where I am, to pay attention to the people around me, and to share hope in real and honest ways. That might look like encouraging someone who feels overlooked, supporting a global effort, or simply being present with someone who needs a friend.
The mission is global, but it becomes personal when I decide to take one small step. And Jesus promises that I never take those steps alone.
