March – Celebration

Celebration is the practice of rejoicing in who God is and what He has done. It is not dependent on circumstances but flows from the deep joy of knowing God’s love and salvation. Through celebration, we are reminded of the victory Jesus has won, and we are invited to live each day with gratitude and hope. As Easter approaches, we celebrate the resurrection that brings life, freedom, and joy.

Week of March 2- Week 9

Reading:

¹The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need. ²He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. ³He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name. ⁴Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. ⁵You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings. ⁶Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever. Psalm 23:1–6 (NLT)

This psalm reminds us that even in difficulty, God gives us reasons to rejoice. His presence, provision, and promises are reasons to celebrate daily.

  1. What part of this psalm gives you the most joy?
  2. How do you see God’s goodness and blessing in your life?
  3. How does remembering God’s presence change the way you face challenges?
  4. Where can you pause this week to celebrate God’s faithfulness?
  5. How might celebration become a daily rhythm for you?

Why this matters for life today:

Celebration reminds us that joy has a place in faith. Singing, laughing, and giving thanks are ways we respond to God’s goodness and encourage others to see it too.

Take it Deeper:

  • Enter God’s presence with thanksgiving and praise for His unfailing love.

1Shout with joy to the Lord, all the earth! 2Worship the Lord with gladness. Come before him, singing with joy. 3Acknowledge that the Lord is God! He made us, and we are his.   • The joy of the Lord is our strength even in times of trial.

 10And Nehemiah continued, “Go and celebrate with a feast of rich foods and sweet drinks, and share gifts of food with people who have nothing prepared. This is a sacred day before our Lord. Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the Lord is your strength!” Nehemiah 8:10 (NLT)
