we believe that God is doing something truly remarkable

among us as He forms families and transforms lives

through the miracle of adoption and foster care.

At New Hope, we’re proud to have families touched by adoption by being an adoptee, birth parents, adoptive parents, waiting adoptive parents, and foster parents. Our goal is to support and encourage one another as we navigate life.

The journey of adoption and foster care is hard, presenting a host of challenges. These challenges can leave you feeling frustrated, overwhelmed, terrified, exhausted, and isolated. In addition, non-adopting/fostering friends or family often do not understand these challenges and have a hard time relating to those who are in the trenches of adoption or foster care. At New Hope, we recognize these unique challenges and want to help. Our Adoption & Foster Parent Group exists to provide connection with other parents that “get” what you are living. Here, you’ll find love, encouragement, and support that will help sustain you through the hard times of adoption and fostering. This group of adoptive and fostering parents meets every other month from 12:30-2:00 pm at New Hope Church. We meet to connect with others who are on the same journey, to share our struggles and triumphs, hopes and fears, challenges and answers—or to just be a safe place for those moments when there are no answers. If you have questions, would like to know the next get togther date, or would like to get connected to our Adoption & Foster Parent Group, Karenna Rowenhorst can help. Click here to contact her.
