Lorton Action Community Center’s 50th Anniversary

New Hope Church has partnered with Lorton Action Community Center (LCAC) in support of our local community for many years. LCAC is hosting a 50^th Anniversary Pantry celebration, on Sunday, May 18th from 3:00 – 5:00 pm, outside their food pantry.  (The rain date is Sunday, June 1st.)

The celebration is open to all who have benefited from and supported our pantry — clients and community members, volunteers, partners, faith communities, donors, etc.  We will have games, raffles, volunteer opportunities, food, and a short presentation commemorating the pantry in honor of our founder, Christine Herbstreith. LCAC invites New Hope Church and The Back Pack to celebrate with them.
