Serving is the natural outflow of the work God has done in our lives and hearts. When God's love invades our world, we cannot help but step out and share His love with those around us.
Our goal is to help you make a connection that makes your heart come alive, where your gifts are used fully, and where Jesus is most glorified. Whether sharing the love of Jesus in the remote villages of Uganda, Guatemala, or Haiti or preparing thousands of meals for children all over the world, we want to help you connect and go!
Around the world many things are broken. As followers of Christ, it is one of our tasks to share the love God has for us with words and with our actions. We know that the needs in this world can, at times, be overwhelming. However, we must not let this sense of being overwhelmed drive us to despair. Rather it must drive us to engage. At New Hope Church we have chosen to engage with the world by developing a limited number of deep and meaningful relationships with organizations based on the following principles:
Focus on community-owned, sustainable models
A mutual desire for close involvement
Alignment of our giftedness as a church with opportunities and passions
A strong sense of stewardship
Our desire is to partner with like-minded organizations in order to be used by God in His work of transforming lives... including our own.
In 2011, New Hope began a partnership with Hope4Kids International. We have a sister church in the village of Bunyinza, Uganda where we provide support to the village infrastruture, children, and widows. We have an annual mission trip to the village as well.
FEED MY STARVING CHILDREN
One of the largest global outreach events we conduct every year is the Feed My Starving Children MobilePack. This is when we come together as a church to fund and pack meals for starving children around the world.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
Since 1994, New Hope Church has had the privilege of partnering with thousands of other churches and Samaritan's Purse to send a shoebox filled with love to a needy child around the world. Operation Christmas Child gives the entire family an opportunity to be part of this awesome outreach event.
