We believe that God created the world and everything in it, including you, and He wants a personal, one-on-one relationship with you today.
Anyone who comes to Jesus for salvation must have at least a basic understanding of who He is and how He meets our needs for salvation. Here is what the bible teaches concerning salvation:
All people have sinned. “For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.” (Romans 3:23)
The penalty for sin is death. “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)
Jesus Christ died to pay the penalty for our sins. “But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.” (Romans 5:8)
We must individually respond to Christ in repentance and faith. “If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.” (Romans 10:9-10).
To understand these facts and even agree that they are true is not enough for a person to be saved. Saving faith is not mere intellectual agreement but deep inward trust in Christ at the core of one’s being. To experience salvation we must individually receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. You receive Christ by faith as an act of your will.
We believe that God created the world and everything in it, including you, and He wants a personal, one-on-one relationship with you today. We believe that starts with Jesus. God, the loving Creator of the universe, has a purpose for you and your life. He loves you and wants to help you because He is a good God. And because of that, His plans are better than you could imagine. You don’t have to measure up to some impossible religious standard to know Him. You just have to take a couple simple steps.
Believing in Jesus is the first step. Jesus is the way to a relationship with God. "Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.”- John 14:6
Confess with your mouth is your second step. "If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” - Romans 10:9
You don't have to be perfect. Through His death on the cross, and then coming back from the dead, Jesus took all of your wrong and gave you all of His right. If you believe that and commit to following Him, your life will never be the same. It’s as simple as repenting of your sin, declaring you want to follow Jesus, and believing He is who He says He is.
Believing in Jesus is the first step on the greatest journey of your life. You haven’t finished the race—you’ve just gotten started. The best is yet to come!
You can begin a relationship with Him right now by simply and sincerely talking to Him in prayer like this…
“Jesus, I thank you for loving me and wanting to have a close relationship with me. I have lived my life independent of you and not lived up to your purpose for my life. I thank you for loving me in spite of my sin. Thank you for dying on the cross for my benefit. I am sorry for my sin and I ask you to forgive me. I ask you now to come into my life and be the new manager. Please help me to grow as a Christian. Amen.”
If you just prayed this prayer...CONGRATULATIONS!
