Project 6:8

Do Justice, Love Mercy, Walk Humbly with your God.

We see it on t-shirts, hear it in songs, and read it in scripture. But what does it really mean to “do justice” or “love mercy”? It sounds nice, but how do we live that out in our lives? During this series, we will take a look at three stories from the Bible that show exactly what it means to “Do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God”.

Message-  Do Justice

Date-  April 3rd, 2016

Key Verse(s)-  Micah 6:8, 2 Samuel 9

Speaker-  Jeff Geyer

We like the idea of an eye for an eye. You get what you deserve. It makes everything easy and simple. But what does “justice” really mean? How can I do justice without seeking vengeance? And what about those who aren’t getting justice?

Message- Love Mercy

Date- April 10th, 2016

Key Verse(s)-  Micah 6:8, 1 Samuel 24

Speaker- Brandon Pendleton

We always love getting it, but it’s one of the hardest things to give. Mercy does not just take thought, but the right heart in order to accomplish. So how do we get there? How do we learn to love mercy?

Message- Walk Humbly

Date- April 17th, 2016

Key Verse(s)- Micah 6:8, 1 Samuel 17

Speaker- Tommy Clark

“I got this.”  A phrase said all the time when we need a little pep talk, or some motivation, or even in moments of despair. But do we really? Can we really do this on our own? David seemed to have everything he needed, but he certainly did not get there by himself…
